Back in September, a gentleman named Johari Kazura from Starlight Academy in Singapore came through the Flow Space right after Burning Man just like I did. He had with him a gimbal-mounted camera rig and we spent an afternoon playing with it in the Flowspace.

A little bit different a taste of flow for y’all--August’s flow session is with my double staves! I’m at Burning Man this week, but wanted to still give you guys a video to enjoy. Let me know if you guys like this one and want to see more double staff work on here!

I’ve done a lot of tracery work with doubles lately and wanted to do something different with this video, playing around with conserving direction and using simpler tricks.

It's been a while since I posted a flow practice! This time last year I was getting ready to move to Los Angeles. I was excited to start over and discover a new life. It didn't work out, unfortunately. I'm happy to be back in DC, but once in a while I think about what might have been.

My annual tradition returns! Free flowing in Washington, DC's beautiful Dupont Circle park with the fountain behind me as I play around with one-handed flow, dance/poi fusion, and frankly just trying to stay warm! It was 10 degrees out as I spun and the camera kept dying because the batteries wouldn't work in the cold.

Silly, sloppy practice in Dupont Circle for my annual MLK Day flow video tradition ;) Sometimes I get really into a song that I know everyone else is going to hate...and then I love the song that much more anyway!
