Christian posted a challenge on the Facebook Tech Poi group this past week asking for CAP vs cateye hybrid possibilities. Never one to back down from a challenge, I started working through it. I'll admit I haven't found anything yet that I feel is really that aesthetically pleasing, but here's what came out nonetheless. In combining these two moves into a hybrid, one has the choice of either synchronizing them by the poi's position in completing a circle (making the move a polyrhythm) or executing the entirety of each move simultaneously (making for some speedy moves necessary on the CAP's behalf). Here are four different orientations for this move.
